Jeg blev uddannet i 1984, som tegner og grafiker. Og siden, er det blevet til layout af mange bøger og en hel del omslag derudover kobbertryk, akvatinte, stregætsninger, fotogravure og computer-grafik.
Ich wurde in 1984 zu Illustrator und Grafiker ausgebildet. Und darnach habe ich das Layout vieler Bücher und Buch-cover gezeichnet und gestaltet.Gleichzeitig habe ich eine beträchtliche persönliche Produktion von Tiefdruck, Aquatinta, Linie Radierungen, Foto-Gravur und Computergrafik gestaltet.

Die erste Begegnung mit Stefan Bannows Bilderwelt erweckt unmittelbar Anklänge an der Surrealismus mit seiner traumhaften und symbolträchtigen Widergabe der Strömungen im Unbewussten.Sein Arbeitsfeld ist indessen nicht die psychologische Aufdeckung der tiefen Schichten des individuellen Bewustsseins, sondern ein sozial engagierter Blickwinkel auf die Gemeinschaftund ihre Tragfähigkeit. An die Stelle der Urlandschaft der Kindheit tritt hier eine moderne Kulturlandscahft, verzerrt durch Aufbrüche und Klüfte.Vor diesem Hintergrund einer modernen, fragmentierten Landschaft hält der Graphiker dem Beschauer methodisch einfache, zentrale Bedeutungsträger vor: die Wurtzel, den Vogel, DNA, den Embryo, das Kind, Christus, das Auge... Das Leben wurzeltief enthüllt, und wir bleiben zurück - wurzellos sozusagen - in einem leeren Raum zur Nachdenken.So nimmt der Künstler uns mit auf seine unablässige Wanderung in ein Spannungsfeld aus Observation, Reflexion und Konfrontation mit essentiellen Fragen: Welche soziale Ordnung und Solidarität sichert das Überleben des postmodernen, entwurzelten Menschen in tragfähigen Gemeinschaften - welche Vernunft und Ethik garantiert uns einen anständigen Umgang mit Umwelt undHochtechnologie, beispielweise Gentechnologie und Cyberspace?Stefan Bannows Kunst kreist in mehr als einem Sinne um das Wandern: Sie schildert die Wanderungen des Menschen zwischen Aufbruch und Sehnsucht nach Gemeinscahft und Standort und spiegelt die eigene ruhelose Wanderung des Künstlers und sein ständiges Suchen nach Erlösung und Antworten.
A first encounter with Stefan Bannow´s graphic world of images would at first make you think of Surrealism and its dreamlike and symbollically satiated reproduction of the streams of the sub-consciousness. However, Bannow´s field of work is not apsychological uncovering of the deeper layers of the individualmind, but rather a socially engaged focus on the community and its viability. The primeval landscape of childhood has been replaced by the cultural landscapeof Modernism/Modernity, twisted by breaches and boundaries.On a background of this modern, fragmented landscape does the lithographic artist methodically bring forth simple and central signifiers to the spectator: The Root, The Bird, The Child, DNA, Christ, The Eye... Life torn up by the roots, and we are left - rootless so to speak - in the empty space of after-thought.Thus, the artists lets us follow his ceaseless journey within a voltage centre of observations, reflections and confrontations with the most essensial questions; what social order and solidarity will secure the survival of the late-Modern, rootless human within viable communities - what sence and which ethics will guarantee us a decent administration of environment and hightech, e.i. gene thecnology and cyberspace!The art of Stefan Bannow does in more than one sense hover about wandering; it delineates human journeys between breaches and the search for fellowship and fixed place, just as it reflects upon the artist´s own restless wanderings and continued search for redemption and answers.

Ich arbeite mit Malen, Zeichnen, Drucktechniken und bin, in den letzten Jahren, vor allem stark mit der Fotografie und digitale Bildbearbeitung besetzt. Værkernes udsagn
Jeff Ibbo, der har tegnet og malet hele sit liv, havde i mellemskolen maleren Alex Klingspor som tegnelærer. Ibbo var i 1961-62 inden sin uddannelse på Kunstakademiet et halvt år på kunsthøjskole med maleren Gunnar Jensen som lærer og prøvede kræfter med et form- og farvesprog, der lå tæt op af Cobra, Jackson Pollock eller Serge Poliakoff. Ibbo opsøgte igen Alex Klingspor og malede nu figurativt mørkemaleri i en rolig stil tæt på Poul Ekelund og Jeppe Vontilius form- og farvesprog. Således rustet blev Ibbo optaget på Kunstakademiet hos Søren Hjorth-Nielsen, der som Ibbo selv udtrykker det ”gav ham lov til at ud- og indvikle sig i tidens ny-opdagelse Popkunsten”.
Jeff Ibbos tidlige malerier er naturalistiske med et surrealistisk islæt. Med en enkel streg males mands- og kvinde portrætter, ofte sås og ses stadig markerede konturlinjer. Udviklingen er gået mod en større forenkling af modellen/modellerne og en rigere stoflig bearbejdning af billedfladen. Ibbo har udført en række kvindestudier både som maler og grafiker med bred streg. Han har udgivet 3 tegneseriebøger. Siden begyndelsen af 1970’ erne har Ibbo arbejdet med keramik parallelt med maleri og grafik. Nogle år mindre med keramik. Nu ses igen en række charmerende og kraftfulde keramiske skulpturer, ofte udført efter model.

Deutsch:Sonny Schneider ist ein dänischer Künstler der mit Malerei, Zeichnungen und Graphiken arbeitet.Er hat einen sehr expressionistischen Stil, da er seine Motive sehr oft mit viel Humor zeichnet und malt.Oft sieht man in seinen Arbeiten verschiedene Konstellationen zwischen Mensch und Tier (?) in dem der Humor als eine von den wichtigsten Grundelementen wiedergespiegelt wird.Wenn Sonnny Schneider mit Graphiken arbeitet sind es oft die technischen Kaltnadelradierung und Monotypen da er diese sehr mag. Sonnny Schneider hat vor 12 Jahren mit der Malerei und Graphiken angefangen. Er ist autodidakt und ist Mitglied in der dänischen Künstlergruppe SALT.
Dansk:Sonny Schneider er en dansk kunstner der arbejder med maleri, tegning og grafik. Han har en ekspressionistisk stil og hans motivverden er ofte fyldt med humor. Ofte ser man I hans malerier og tegninger, forskellige konstellationer bestående af dyr og mennesker, hvor humoren igen er et vigtigt element. Når Sonny Schneider arbejder med grafikken, er det ofte koldnålsradering han er optaget af, ligesom monotypi også er blandt hans foretrukne teknik. Sonny Schneider startede med at male for 12 år siden, og er autodidakt.Han er medstifter og medlem af den danske kunstgruppe SALT.
English:Sonny Schneider is a Danish artist who works with paintings, drawings and graphic works. He has an expressionistic style and many of his motives is often felt with humor. His motive is often constellations of human and animal in a humoristic situation. When Sonny Schneider is working with graphic it is often the techniques etching and monotyps he is most found of. He started to paint 12 years ago, and is a member of the Danish art group; SALT.

Reflections on my Art Work 2009,:To work with elements other than color is as going on an expedition to a foreign country. New surprises and possibilities are always occurring. The discoveries can be of a permanent nature, but often they must either be reduced and/or be completely discarded in favor of picture expressions, that have been cleaned of irrelevant elements. Music and paintings fit together in some areas, for example the picture elements rhythm or the choice of colors. Where they do not fit together is in the passing of time. Music passes with time. It can be short or long. A painting on the other hand stands still in time. The elements and the colors are like music for the eye, subtly music with suggestions and a touch in transparent paint-overs, which covers a cord through the works.The fact that art has not yet been defined, does not mean, that you cannot get close to a definition of it. Everyone agrees that art has to ask questions, the more the better and especially questions never asked before. Whether they can be answered is actually of no importance, since they start new thoughts, creativity and energies. There are references to the masters of music, literature and science. In spite of these suggested references the works exist in their own right. The works are, therefore, also physical landscapes, that communicate between you/me/yours qualities and follies. Seriousness,  smile  and humor. ORDER,  CONNECTION  AND PROPORTIONS. The painting becomes a space for communication on the unconscious level, if the viewer opens himself for the influence without explanations. A timeless,  fragile balance. The scenery moves in time and space in their inner and outer universe. A mysterious  ambiguity in the relationship which occurs between the painting and the viewer.Through the metaphor, the linguistic as well as the visual a search is made, a form of intuitive  nderstanding of a connection which apparently is derived from rational explanations. Life and art overlap each other “a tactile space”.An invisible fight with art. An experiment of thinking  through the meaning of the intentions of experience of art - to connect the archaic with present formulation. Life and reality is so indefinitely versatile that the total realism is a philosophical impossibility along the lines of the circles quadrature. Therefore, selection and simplification is one of arts first commands.Some of the elements in my pieces: The strong  man in my pictures are an inspiration from Carl Nielsen. Whether he is a sun worshipper, or the opposite, the individual must decide.The number 8 is a development of the earlier used baker`s pretzel, which through the years have developed into the lying down number 8, which scientifically is a symbol for eternity. But there is also the odd bond that turn the inside - and the outside out at the same time. You don’t know where it starts and where it ends.

Teknikken har stor betydning, da den først kan nedbrydes, når den mestres til fuldkommenhed. Mein Name ist Palle Rud Christoffersen und ich bin 60 Jahre alt. Seit meiner Kindheit interessiere ich mich für Zeichnungen und Malereien. Ich bin ausgebildeter Baumaler und später habe ich auch eine pädagogische Ausbildung durchgeführt.Meine grosse Passion was die kreativen Möglichkeiten anbelangt, habe ich erst als Erwachsener entwickelt. Ich arbeite schon seit Jahren mit Ölkreiden, Wasserfarben, Collagen und der traditionellen Zeichnung mit Bleistift. Das Mysterium der Zeichnung entwickelte für mich die Grundlage für mein späteres Interesse für die Grafik.Zu Begin habe ich die graphischen Techniken in einem Sommerteam der Kunsthochschule in Holbæk gelehrnt. Unsere inspierierende Lehrerin, Grethe Toft, deren Lehrer Palle Nielsen und Søren Hjort Nielsen von der graphischen Schule in Kopenhagen waren, war eine phantastische Lehrerin.Grethe Toft hatte  den handwerklichen Zugang zu den graphischen Techniken und dadurch für mich den richtigen Einfallswinkel zur Grafik.Wir haben mit Kaltnageln angefangen und später ging es weiter mit Streich-ätzkunst, Zinkographie, Aquatinte und Mezzotinte.Später habe ich auch mit Linoleumsdruck und Xero – Lithographie gearbeitet.All das began in den Achtziger Jahren. Seitdem habe ich mit der Grafik kontinuierlich gearbeitet.Im Jahre 1990 habe ich einen grossen Wunsch erfüllt bekommen: in meiner Werkstatt habe ich mir eine Druckpresser angeschafft.Im Jahre 2003 wurde ich Mitglied der Graphischen Werkstatt in Næstved und hier habe ich mich mit Fotogravure und Lithographie beschäftigt.
